Taking care of your hair can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially in the winter months. The air is cold, windy, and damp, bringing all sorts of discomfort. Just as our skin needs protection, so does our hair. Apply moisture-rich treatments to your hair and scalp once a week. Scalp treatments and oils, whether exfoliants or moisturizing oils, should be applied to the scalp and then shampooed out. After that, use a moisture or hydration mask, leaving it on for 10-30 minutes for optimal absorption.
If you lack the patience to do it at home, letting a salon assist you could be the solution to maintaining your hair's health. Plus, they can blow dry it for you as well!
Here are some product options you can use at home to address your hair and scalp needs.
